http://bigartadventure.blogspot.com/ is a fun site that gives weekly challanges. Last week they gave out a challange to use a regular tin can and make something with it. They gave two examples that were quite varied in their approach to the project. I thought it would be fun to do so I tried it. The above picture is the result of that .

It is supposed to be a tree spirit or a Dryad. I can't wait to see what they do for this next week. Stop by and check out their site-lots of interesting and beautiful things there.

Hi Sharon - I had to come back and say that I have been looking through your blog and I just love your writings and the photographs you have shown are outstanding. The ones that are sticking in my mind are the ones of the blue sky, the sunflower and the mist on the Kansas River - beautiful. I will visit again ....

Cute can.. uh.. tree! You almost can't tell it is a can. Looks like a fun project. I am going to have to check out what else you can do with cans.
