Cast of characters

This is Cally dog and Toby cat. As you can see they enjoyed hanging out together. Cally dog died last fall-she lived to be 13 and 1/2. The vet actually told me she only had a few months to live when she was 10 but she beat the odds. She only had a few bad days in all. She was an exceptional dog. Toby has a new sister now. Her name is Maddy Joy and she is a chocolate lab I got from the local Humane Society last Spring. Toby keeps trying to snuggle with her, but she won't have it. She is a very sweet dog, 6 years old and she is convinced she is a lap dog even though she weighs 70 lbs. She has to have her cuddle time daily. She gets along great with the cats ( Toby and Gracie) and little Napoleon ( a papillion I'm fostering for a friend) but she remembers that Toby swiped at her a couple of times and she hasn't entirely forgiven him. Toby is 15 and 1/2 now and I'm not sure how much longer he will be with us but I'm grateful for every day I have with my little furry blessings. Gracie kitty is 10 now and is a real prima donna.
