Welcome to Blue Monday! Today I thought I would share a picture I took a few weeks ago when my sister and I went for a drive in the country. It was a beautiful day unlike the past week but like today promises to be(but being Monday I will be inside-not out enjoying our sudden fall coolness). A gorgeous blue sky with pretty fluffy clouds with that wonderful late afternoon light.

The next picture I took at my favorite store in town(Antiques Plus). You never know what treasures you will find in there but you will always find something! I love the romatic pic below not to mention the pretty hydrangaes. It puts me in a good mood just seeing the blossoms on the tree.
Well thanks for stopping by- Don't forget to check out Smiling Sal and all the lovely ladies participating today. For a complete listing go to http://smilingsally.blogspot.com/

I love hydrangeas but can't get one to grow. I have tried twice. I may give it another try next year. Kathy

I don't think I ever saw a blue sky like that where I live (we have too much smog). And, those hydrangeas are soooo pretty. I just read your entire blog and really enjoyed it. We seem to like some of the same things so I know I'll be back. :)

Hi Susan! That blue sky photo needs to be printed and framed--it is lovely! I know I would enjoy rummaging in that antique shop! Looks like a good one! Dana

Susan, thanks for visiting me this morning. I am afraid my visits have been sporadic since my surgery. Some days were better than others. Now I am really on the mend so my visits should pick up.

You photos are wonderful. The sky with the clouds are beautiful. I would love to visit your favorite antique store. That print is a Gutman if I am not mistaken. The hydrangeas are lovely. I used to sell antiques with my sisters. They are still in the business in Atlanta and their business name is 'Bluebird Antiques.' They have been business for over twenty years. I still love the hunt, although I rarely buy anymore. I miss it.

Hugs, Jeanne

Great picture of the blue jay! We have one that hangs around in our yard but he's to fast to snap a shot of. Emu's are pretty neat also! There is a farm in Simsbury that raises them and apparently one got lose and made it Middletown, which is about 20 miles away. Someone caught him and brought him back to the farm. I couldn't imagine seeing one of those strolling down the street;) thanks for visiting:) Hope to see you again soon:)
